Welding machines

Not only the welding of plastic materials environmentally safer than bonding techniques using adhesives, it is also more cost-efficient. The specific challenge posed by the development of plastics welding machines for all industries is the presence of heat and therefore expansion. This applies to small manual devices as well as machines and large-scale equipment. Whenever plastic components are subject to mechanical or thermal stresses, welding is the safest – and sometimes only – method to securely join the individual parts. The welding of plastic pipes enables drains to withstand pressures of up to 10 bar (or greater), while engine parts in passenger cars and trucks can now be exposed to heat without any problems. We offer you qualified advice and professional realization for tools and machines you need for plastics of all kinds. To show you the various plastic welding techniques we briefly explain three of them in the table below:

Heated tool welding Friction welding Radiant heat sealing (infrared)
Butt welding, welding by bending, sleeve welding with appropriate heated tool Using heat generated through mechanical friction between moving work pieces, thereby joining parts to be welded Non-contact welding using high temperatures
